Well, Well, Well

So, I feel like Kyp and I have been slacking on our responsibilities as bloggers... we're not giving up to date info on our opinions of how crazy Britney is, and who knocked up her sister (it was Kyp by the way). But I assure you, it's mainly because we're busy with random stuff, and find gossip and such kind of... annoying? I don't really care if Hannah Montana is pregnant with an Alien's baby (start spreading the news), basically the only thing that really has caught our attention recently is the Golden Globes getting cancelled. When that happened, clearly the next step was wondering about the Academy Awards. Both of us were a little torn; we know that the cancelling of the Golden Globes was a huge win for the Writer's Guild of America (whom we support), however, if the Oscars get cancelled, there goes one of our favorite annual parties. Drinking and betting on acting, what could be better?

So looking at it now, Really we still want the same thing, we want the strike to end. For that to happen the studios have to give in, Dave Letterman's privately owned company Worldwide Pants has made an independent deal with it's writers, and therefore Letterman and that British guy who's on after him [edit by Kyp: Craig Ferguson is Scottish, you moron.] have their writers back. Meanwhile, the rest of the late night hosts seem to be managing well enough with their guest and interview based shows.

The way I envision the strike is like that scene from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, the studios clearly have the Writers out matched in size, and overall strength... however, the Writer's brought a gun to the knife fight.
