10 Things

Ok, so it's no secret that Kyp and I are huge fans of Joseph Gordon Levitt, and with the approaching release of The Dark Knight featuring none other than Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger) what better movie to throw on in the thought of, "hey...i can turn this off at any point since i've seen it so many times"... and now i'm about hour and half into it... SUCH A GOOD MOVIE.

It's weird to think how many things i've said in the past have been heavily influenced by this film.  and yeah... i called it a film... it's amazing!!! YOU ADAPT SHAKESPEARE AND SEE HOW IT COMES OUT!!!

"...annnndddd i'm BACK IN THE GAME!!!"

if only.

My New Home

so, I've moved in with the Loves.  I've got my little set up downstairs, and it's quite comfy actually.  I've been watching movies all weekend and everything.  It's been good.  I got to hang out with my niece this weekend for the fourth, had some brewskies, all in all a pretty awesome time.  Right now i'm watching The Hunt for Red October... is it safe to smoke a cigarette inside a sub? that strikes me as a bad idea.

Anyway, in other news... there is no other news :P

Most Anticipated Game of 2009

With the growing trend of turning some of our favorite movies (The Star Wars movies, Indiana Jones movies) into Lego video games... apparently Lucasarts wants to go in a new direction, and shed their, "family friendly" lego-man centered faux action video gaming experience...

it's with great honor that I bring a WaxIdiotical exculsive announcement.

BioShock

I know I'm totally behind the curve on this but I just started playing this game and it's amazing. The problems I have with most video games usually involve the story. Final Fantasy VII is my favorite because it had such an intricate and involving story. I had to beat it cause I had to know how it ended. BioShock's story is less character driven as it is about an idea. Rapture is an underwater city built to be a utopia and, ofcourse, becomes a distopia. I don't know what the main character's name is but I sure as hell want to find out more about this city and it's founder Andrew Ryan. There's some freaky stuff going on and I love it. Game play wise it's wicked enjoyable with lots of different weapons and "plasmids" which are basically interchangeable superpowers. How could that not be fun?!
