HD DVD is dead. Long Live Blu-Ray

Being a semi-early adopter of HD DVD (I've had the HD DVD drive for the 360 for a year) I saddens me to report that HD DVD is dead. Toshiba, HD DVD's main backer, announced that it is going to halt production of the next gen format.

Believe it or not this is a good thing. It's nice to know that there is only one format now. Soon all movies will be put out on Blu-Ray and consumers won't be confused as to which they should buy. High Def home video will finally become main stream. Let us rejoice with all 1080 pixels.
