Stalling - more updates!

So we've officially heard from the NH 48 Hour Film Project people that "Stalling" was selected as the Audience Choice for Screening Group B!

on top of that... we made a poster... and it's pretty awesome!

So if you watched "Stalling" you might have noticed how at the end of the movie when we watch, "The Notebook" ...it's not Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gossling... here's how it really went down.

Reactions (48HFP Boston)

So just got back from the 'Best of Boston' screening for the 48 hour film project.

Immediate reactions are as follow:

I really thought that being at the screening we were supposed to have won an award... i was apparently wrong; don't get me wrong, happy that we at least made the screening... but .... yeah...

REALLY think that The Lemonade Stand by Danny Glover Super Awesome Amazing Fun Brigade (I'm sure I butchered the team name but you get the gist) was absolutely robbed....

yes they won several awards... but awards they didn't win that they should have include:

Best Script

Best of Boston

...those are the two that stick out most in my head.

Anyway, now it's time for me to pent up all the anger and rage and direct it towards making a totally kick ass movie this weekend for the NH 48 HFP which we'll be participating in.  Screening will be at AppleTree Cinema in Londonderry June 22nd at 9:30.  Smaller number of participants means we should be able to give a very strong showing... now here's hoping we get a genre that we can knock out of the park!\

"...where?" wins award!

We've been honored with an award of some sort at the 2009 Boston 48 Hour Film Project. I received an email on Wednesday with word that our little short will be included in the "Best of Boston" show June 9. This means we won some kind of award and we'll find out at the screening ceremony on the 9th exactly what award it is. Thanks to everyone who helped us make this happen!
