The Apartment

This is not a movie review of the classic [insert date here] movie The Apartment but rather a list of a few observations on what it's like to move into a new apartment.
1) It smells. Not bad, but different. At least my place didn't smell bad. Yours might. In that case I recommend cherry scented things. My place smelled like a combination of my Grandparents house and new wood. This is a smell I suspect will slowly morph into wine and cheez-its. Every 20something's apartment should smell as such. Should take 2 month to change the smell.
2) All the different similarities. Hey, that's all my stuff! But... that's not my room. Well it is now. I'd say it takes about 2 weeks to get used to having your stuff be in a different place.
3) *Yawn* *Panic* Where am I? You know when you wake up in a hotel and there a split second where you have to remember, "Oh yeah, I'm not at home." I'll give that about 5 days to get used to.
4) Where's the light switch? *Ow!* Self explanatory. 6 days.

Zombie Escape Plan #19
Give up hope, play Thriller, and see if they'll dance.
0% Effective... in fact if anything, this just irriates the zombies more, and they'll eat you in a more painful way.

Mark's Review: This Is England

Alright, honestly... I could review this movie in four words:
SEE... THIS... MOVIE...NOW!
Powerful, great acting, intriguing plot, beautifully shot. I added this to my quene after hearing Matty and Adam raving about it on Filmspotting, and now having seen it, I understand why. This movie was just amazing.
Following a young boy who's father died as he becomes part of a skin-head gang. Now I know what you're thinking... skin-heads?! And that's the weird thing, you see these guys as good hearted people (at times, and by no means am i suggesting skin-heads are good people!) I think director Shane Meadows just completely hit the mark with this film. It's difficult to explain because essentially it is about this young boy who is taken in by this group, and the effect it has on him etc. but it's less about what they believe and more just how they treat the boy.
Really, just see it, you'll understand what I'm talking about. This got a lot of praise at Sundance, and the boy Sean won best new comer for it, and absolutely deserved it. Honestly the whole cast does a bang up job, and this movie's the dog's bollucks (that means good).
